Sorry I haven’t updated in the past few days. My boyfriend and I went on a trip to Vermont. It’s so beautiful up there, and of course it’s so nice to get away from the chaos that is New York City!
Anyways...
In this stage I have pulled forward all the lights in Mason’s face. It may appear that his face has gotten wider, it’s funny how your eyes play tricks with darks and lights! In reality, it’s exactly the same size that I started with and will go back to look the proportional size again once I glaze in the darks again.
I feel that all of these layers are essential in making the final product have a depth that captures realism.
